It was her Day of Fun day. Her top three picks when ranking the day: 3) reading books at the bookstore, 2) riding on the escalator at the bookstore, and 1) playing in the fountains.-----all free!
It was a toss up for her next favorite--the new puppy from Build a Bear or getting her nails done.

Great video! Hopefully, whoever invented that fountain (and the one on the other side as well) patented the thing. I used to joke that they must hire children to play in and around it because I have never seen the fountain without kids nearby or splashing through unless it was freezing outside. It's like a beacon for people under five feet tall...

In the summer, that fountain is packed with kids. We've even made trips to the mall--in swimsuits-- just to play in the fountain. (And get ice cream when we're done.)

Great video Ed. I love how simple things make kids so happy - it should be contagious to us adults. Maybe that's why we love being around kids so much - they make us appreciate the little things. Thanks!

I just want to know how you prevented her from going into the fountains. My kids would have been all over those things swimsuits or not!
