(Disclaimer: This is my very first attempt at creating a podcast. It was not easy! It was not fun! It literally sucked the Holiday Spirit from my very core. So, if you happen to not like this carefully selected, thoughtfully arranged and festive selection of Christmas music.....I don't care!! Santa knows where you live. He knows.....)

Excellent - love it.
Well ok I haven't played it all yet, but I will, constantly, if only to annoy my two offspring who's musical heritage does not include any "proper" christmas songs, their musical idols do not seem to release "proper" christmas songs anymore.
Their loss.
I shall re-educate them.
Just as soon as I manage to gather them together in one room.

I say annoy away. Beat the Christmas spirit into them if you have to.

PS - Its still excellent - but there's an extra song sneaked in there - "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem" by Nat King Cole (???).
Its a bonus.

Bonus indeed!! And yes, that was Nat.
Also, I think I mislabeled one of the Dave Koz selections. I've got some editing to do.

Good list, I love Christmas music, especially the crooners and lounge varieties.
PS. Brian Duncan ROCKS.

Yeah, this list is fairly typical of what I play at Christmas. Excellent for background listening but just as easy to jump right in and sing along!

Nice list! Every Christmas playlist needs a little Vince Guaraldi and Bing Crosby!! Of course, I have to throw in the Trans-Siberian Orchesta, too. :o)

In our house, Vince Guaraldi is a year round staple.

Very cool! I had it playing in the background while I read my blogs for today. Much better than those tired old traditional Christmas songs that get played over and over again. Loved it!

So happy you enjoyed it. Hope it helped to spread some Christmas joy.

For me it's all about To Wish You a Merry Christmas by Harry Belafonte. Beautiful album and it reminds me of Christmases from my childhood.

I was listening to Holly on XM, but I think I like your playlist better!

Thanks for the compliment. I've got Sirius but honestly, I keep the iPod close. I tend to like my stuff, too. But then again, I think we all gravitate to our own tried and true Christmas selections. It's a comfort thing.
