Extra, Extra. Read all about.......
....Me!!!
That's right blog fan (no, I did not forget to pluralize that) I am a headliner. A good friend of mine.....umm, a buddy of mine.....no, wait...a guy I met in a bar....actually, he's one of the blogs I read regularly and has begun a series of interviews of at-home-dads. For some strange reason, he chose to interview me. You can read all about it at Quirkee.com, an award-winning humor and entertainment online publication (Issue #74: November 8, 2007). You owe it to yourself to check it out. I mean, check me out. Then stick around and check out more of Quirkee or head over to James' blog, Daddyshack. All time well spent, I assure you. Then come back and let me know what you think.

I enjoyed the article. It's nice to see daddy's that are so involved with their children. You are a great man and your wife and babies are lucky to have you. You are all lucky to have each other!!

I think I got the best deal here. Really. How many people get to get up every single day and do what they love to do?

Nicely done.
I was thinking, which is rare for me, that your reply to the old "hands full" comment could be to sock'em in the ear. Then you can say, "If my hands were full could I have done that?"
People will give you some space afterwards.

Nothing better than an elbow to the back of the head. On more than one occasion I have replied, "Yes, I do. Oh, and thanks for the help with the door." (Biting sarcasm--evil glare!!)

Your interview was awsesome. It's really cool that you stay home with the kids and love to do it. My hubby says he would do it in a heartbeat if I made more than him (of course, maybe he says that because he knows it will never happen - LOL).

My standard response to anyone that says they would love to do what I do is right there in my header.....careful what you wish for!

Fame at last eh?
I always envy the stay at home dads. One day, one day.

Ah, fame. Yes. I'm almost ready to quit my day job. Wait. I already did that.

Awesome interview! But I think you should have said David from the Upside Down Show could play you in the movie of your life. It's the hair, I think. Besides, I'm sure he's looking to branch out. Wouldn't you if you were him?
Then again, my husband did say the Wiggles were making something like $100 million a year when they were touring. Who knew children's entertainment could be so damned lucrative?!

One more bad hair day and it'll have to be Shane.
